Imagined Realities

This series moves away from traditional photography while still resembling landscape and still life compositions. The images explore and embrace the unknown, allowing unexpected patterns and textures tell their own story through chemical reactions. Rather than documenting reality, the images depict emotions, memories, and imagined spaces. The process itself becomes a collaboration between chemistry and artistic intent, blurring the line between representation and abstraction.

Chromoskedasic Sabatier is a photographic solarization process that alters silver gelatin paper using chemicals to manipulate the look of traditional black and white paper. By applying activator and stabilizer in specific ways, the paper reacts to create shifting tones and colors. As the chemicals interact with the silver in the paper, metallic sheens, soft edges, and leathery textures form unpredictably, making each piece unique.
